    Description

Drive Survivors of Abuse to Safety - Help Wanted!

    Help survivors arrive to safety!

This is a great volunteer opportunity for those who:

Want to make a meaningful impact

Want to get out of the house

Want control over their assigned mission

Families to Freedom transports victims of domestic abuse to safety.

Weekday daytime volunteer drivers are in high demand!

    • You can choose to accept or decline a drive - no pressure!
    • Multiple trips needed daily, sometimes scheduled ahead and most often short-notice
    • We arrange survivor pick-ups in a safe public place - no home visits!
    • Many of our survivors travel with children - we prepare car seats so you don't have to
    • Families to Freedom covers all travel costs!

We need volunteers aged 21+ with a good driving record.

Pick up domestic violence survivors from a safe pickup place (like a shelter, store, or hospital), and drive them to a safe destination (like a shelter or a family member's home).

    Start the process at https://www.familiestofreedom.org/volunteer.php
