Bringing 200 Vulnerable and Out-of-School Children Back to School in Ebonyi, Nigeria
About This Opportunity:
In Ebonyi State, 200 children are out of school – not because they don't want to learn, but because hunger took their classroom.
Their mothers are widows or have husbands incapacitated by stroke, blindness, or paralysis. The family cannot afford $30 for school fees, uniforms, and books.
These children sit at home while their mates learn. Some hawk pure water on streets. Their future is fading.
MARYPAT LOVE & CARE FOUNDATION (CAC IT 184979 | UNP 68571) wants to return 1,000 children to school with $30 per child. But we start with 200 children as approved by GlobalGiving.
$25 Provides for 1 Child:
- School fees
- Uniform
- Books and writing materials
- School bag
- Daily meal for 1 term
We have identified the children in Abakaliki, Izzi, Ezza North & South. We need Fundraising Champions to make this possible.
