    Description

MUSIC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - SAN ANTONIO

Make a Real Difference Through the Power of Music

Bring joy, comfort, and connection to someone in hospice care.

Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is seeking compassionate volunteers to share the gift of music with local hospice patients and their families.

If you love to sing or play an instrument, you can use your talent to bring peace and joy to those nearing the end of life - whether in a nursing facility or patient’s home.

    This opportunity is perfect for:

    Music lovers

High school and college students (volunteer hours can count toward academic requirements - we’ll provide validation!)

Music therapy students looking for meaningful, hands-on experience

Ways You Can Share Your Gift:

    • Listen to music with a patient

    • Play an instrument

    • Sing hymns or favorite tunes

    • Chat about their favorite songs and memories

    • Offer emotional support through compassionate presence

"Music can heal the wounds which medicine cannot touch."

    Flexible Scheduling:

Just one hour per week - you choose weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
