Volunteer Opportunity: Friendly Companion Volunteer

Volunteer Role: Companion Volunteer
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable volunteer to provide companionship and social connection for an older adult residing in a care home setting.
The participant enjoys listening to music, sharing conversations, and connecting with others. A volunteer who enjoys spending time with older adults and building meaningful relationships would be an excellent match.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Engaging in friendly conversation
- Listening to and discussing music
- Sharing stories and life experiences
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Offering consistent visits to help reduce feelings of isolation
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Friendly, patient, and empathetic
- Comfortable visiting older adults in a residential care setting
- Reliable and able to maintain a regular visit schedule
- Complete Providence volunteer onboarding requirements
