    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Responsibilities

    • Lead PFLAG LA's advocacy efforts. Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support PFLAG LA's financial sustainability and growth.
    • Partner with President and Vice President to align advocacy goals with the organization's strategic goals.
    • Build relationships with other local groups and organizations to cultivate advocacy partners.

    Qualifications

    • Willing to commit to a 1-2 year term.
    • Experience in advocacy, lobbying, grassroots organizing, or similar.
    • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of LGBTQ+ community and nonprofit sector, preferred.

    4. Invitation and Board Vote
    5. Complete onboarding/training.
