    Description

    Al-Wafa for Yemen is seeking a motivated Resource Mobilization Volunteer to support our efforts in securing funding and building partnerships that strengthen our humanitarian programs across Yemen. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about nonprofit fundraising and eager to contribute to meaningful impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Research potential donors, funding opportunities, and grant-making organizations.
    • Assist in drafting or reviewing fundraising proposals and concept notes.
    • Support outreach efforts to international NGOs, foundations, and humanitarian platforms.
    • Contribute creative ideas for digital fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.
    • Track opportunities and maintain simple weekly progress summaries.
    • Collaborate remotely with the team to strengthen overall fundraising efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Interest in fundraising, donor engagement, or nonprofit resource mobilization.
    • Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant funding opportunities.
    • Clear and professional communication skills (Arabic or English).
    • Ability to write short, compelling messages or summaries.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and committed to supporting humanitarian work.
    • Previous fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
