Volunteers will carry out clerical duties as assigned by the staff at WomenSafe.
QUALIFICATIONS
Volunteers should have a working knowledge of computers and common software packages that are available.
Volunteers should be dependable and have the ability to work in a multi-task environment.
TRAINING
Volunteers must attend the mandatory volunteer orientation/training session. Topics include: why victims stay, predictors of a potential abuser, personalized safety planning, client rights and confidentiality, and agency protocol.
Volunteers must also attend any other trainings that are recommended by a WomenSafe Representative that correspond with the volunteer work being completed.
SUPERVISION
Volunteers completing clerical work will be supervised by a WomenSafe Representative, such as; the Billing Specialist, Finance Director, Executive Director, or Assistant Director of Community Affairs.
