    Why Volunteer as an In - Person Tutor with Hollywood PAL?

    Join Us in Changing Lives:

    Hollywood PAL is committed to supporting low-income youth in the Hollywood Community. By volunteering, you become a beacon of hope for these amazing kids

    What's Required:

    Commitment: Available to meet twice a week for one-hour sessions

    Subject Expertise: Proficient and confident in the subject you will be tutoring primary Math and English

    Motivation: A genuine interest in helping students succeed academically and further their skills in the subject areas they are struggling with

    Communication Skills: Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt an effective teaching style/plan to meet the needs of the student. Ability to communicate effectively with the tutoring coordinator

    Tutoring Details:

    Flexible Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 4:00 to 7:00pm

    On- Site Location: 5824 Santa Monica Blvd

    kids: kindergarten to 12th grade
