Office Hospice Volunteer - North Olmsted, OH

We are looking for help in our office! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has administrative experience and has the desire to give back in a way that truly helps others. This is a flexible schedule. You pick the days and times you want to come in. We just ask that it’s within regular business hours. We need help keeping up with frequent tasks like filing medical records, faxing doctors' offices, organizing paperwork, putting together mailings to send to families, putting together care packages for our Celebrate Life program, and making check in calls for our bereavement program.

Care for hospice patients depends on a lot of behind-the-scenes administrative support. Your help will make a difference! After an interview, new volunteers will have to pass background checks, attend an orientation and complete initial education on hospice. Our schedule is flexible during office hours: volunteer for a half hour or a half day, once a month or multiple times a week.
