    Description

    Show some love to the Ann Arbor Senior Center! Join the Ann Arbor Parks Volunteer Program for an afternoon of stewardship at the Ann Arbor Senior Center. This beloved space is next to Burns Park and active with tennis and pickleball players, college kids playing frisbee in the parking lot, and lots of dog walkers! We'll be focusing on getting the senior center ready for spring planting by cleaning out leaves, sticks, and other debris from garden beds.

    Event Details:

    • Meeting Location: Ann Arbor Senior Center, 1320 Baldwin Ave., Ann Arbor
      • Check-in: Near the bench outside of the Senior Center.

    What to wear and bring:

    • Wear comfortable, weather appropriate shoes and clothes that can get muddy
    • A reusable water bottle
    • We provide all necessary tools and supplies

    Please note:

    • Some tasks may involve bending, lifting, or being in full sun
    • Work areas may have uneven terrain or minor tripping hazards
    • All minors must be accompanied by a guardian
