Grant writer for Mommy Haven

Mommy Haven is seeking a volunteer Grant Writer to help secure funding for Sister Circle and our future programs supporting mothers impacted by incarceration, addiction, domestic violence, and other hardships.

Responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, reviewing eligibility requirements, preparing letters of inquiry and grant applications, maintaining a grant deadline calendar, and assisting with required reports.

The ideal volunteer has strong writing and research skills, pays close attention to detail, communicates reliably, and is passionate about helping women and families. Previous nonprofit grant-writing experience is preferred but not required.

This is a remote, unpaid volunteer opportunity requiring approximately 3–5 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible, but the volunteer must be able to meet application deadlines and provide regular progress updates.
