    Dependable, organized, and comfortable using a computer. Strong communication and research skills preferred. Must maintain confidentiality and have reliable transportation to and from the Bridge Breast Network office.

    Description

    Join Bridge Breast Network as a Development & Communications Volunteer and gain hands-on experience supporting the fundraising, outreach, and communications efforts of a North Texas nonprofit organization.

    This volunteer will work closely with the Development Department and assist with a variety of projects that help strengthen community awareness, fundraising efforts, and organizational growth.

    Volunteer responsibilities may include:

    • Researching grant and foundation funding opportunities
    • Researching potential corporate sponsors, donors, and community partners
    • Assisting with social media content ideas, scheduling, and engagement
    • Helping gather information and content for newsletters and email communications
    • Assisting with fundraising and special event preparation
    • Organizing donor, sponsor, and development-related information
    • Conducting community and business outreach research
    • Helping prepare materials for sponsorship, fundraising, and donor campaigns
    • Providing general administrative support for Development Department projects
    • Assisting with other communications and fundraising projects as needed

    Qualifications:

    We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable conducting online research. Strong written communication skills and basic computer skills are preferred. Experience with social media, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, marketing, or grant research is helpful but not required.

    This opportunity is ideal for college students, recent graduates, professionals looking to gain nonprofit experience, or community members interested in fundraising, communications, marketing, or nonprofit development.

    Volunteers will receive guidance and training on assigned projects. The schedule can be coordinated based on volunteer availability and current Development Department needs.
