Description
This program focuses on raising awareness about critical social issues such as housing insecurity and homelessness through impactful written content. Our journalism team creates articles and blog posts designed to promote community awareness and advocacy.
Program Structure:
- Develop content using Google Docs
- Select timely, relevant topics that create meaningful impact in the community (initial topics may be reviewed for guidance; experienced contributors may select topics independently)
- Prepare comprehensive articles, including title, content, citations, and sources
- Submit completed work to the content coordinator (Tricia) for publication, including a relevant image and a brief summary
Volunteer Hours: 250 words = 1 hour
