    Description

    Hi there!

We are looking for a volunteer to lead weekly or 2x month Bingo nights at our local hostel!

Come and hang out with international travelers, lead some Bingo and have fun!

No previous pool experience necessary! *But ideally you have played Bingo once or twice. ;)

Training will be provided. Our goal is to connect and create lasting memories for the volunteers and guests alike! We are looking for volunteers who are interested in cultural exchange, sharing some tips about local things to do, etc,

Right now we host the event on Monday nights, but we are open to switching if another night works better for volunteers.

    Responsibilities would include:

    • Lead Bingo and set up, clean up
    • Put our sodas and snacks for guests to enjoy during Bingo
    • Engaging with the travelers. A lot of the travelers are traveling alone, some are shy, or don't know English very well; events like these are opportunities to create a welcoming environment for everyone to feel included by engaging in conversation and inviting them to play Bingo.
    • Help people play Bingo and understand the rules of Bingo.

    WHY VOLUNTEER WITH HI USA?

    • Meet new people from all over the world, including travelers, staff, and fellow volunteers
    • Help bring people together and facilitate cultural exchange
    • Build skills in public speaking, foreign languages, intercultural communication, and more
    • Earn HI USA membership and overnights at HI USA hostels
    • Training provided and flexible schedule
    • Have fun while making a difference!

We are excited to invite individuals to join our volunteer team, celebrating the strength of diversity in all its forms. We believe that the collective power of varied racial backgrounds, abilities, and gender identities fosters a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences. By coming together, we aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone's unique qualities contribute to our shared goals. Whether you're passionate about our cause or seeking an opportunity to make a positive impact, we encourage you to lend your voice and presence to our diverse community of volunteers. Join us in shaping a future that embraces inclusivity and unity.
