Volunteer Needed to Lead Bingo Night at HI Fisherman's Wharf Hostel
Details
Description
Hi there!
We are looking for a volunteer to lead weekly or 2x month Bingo nights at our local hostel!
Come and hang out with international travelers, lead some Bingo and have fun!
No previous pool experience necessary! *But ideally you have played Bingo once or twice. ;)
Training will be provided. Our goal is to connect and create lasting memories for the volunteers and guests alike! We are looking for volunteers who are interested in cultural exchange, sharing some tips about local things to do, etc,
Right now we host the event on Monday nights, but we are open to switching if another night works better for volunteers.
Responsibilities would include:
- Lead Bingo and set up, clean up
- Put our sodas and snacks for guests to enjoy during Bingo
- Engaging with the travelers. A lot of the travelers are traveling alone, some are shy, or don't know English very well; events like these are opportunities to create a welcoming environment for everyone to feel included by engaging in conversation and inviting them to play Bingo.
- Help people play Bingo and understand the rules of Bingo.
