    Description

    Our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax preparation services to eligible individuals, including low-income and seniors. As a greater, you'll be the first point of contact, helping everyone feel welcomed and informed.

    Responsibilities:

      • Welcome and orient tax filers to the tax site
      • Manage waiting and entry areas to ensure smooth flow of taxpayers according to site operational procedures
      • Refer taxpayers to Tax Preparers or Site Coordinators for tax-related questions
      • Inform taxpayers about other community resources as needed
