    Be able to identify and separate books by fiction and non-fiction. Know the alphabet. Lift and carry boxes of books. Good communication skills greeting and assisting customers. May need to be able to take discarded book to trash location.

    Description

    Do you love Books? Volunteer at the Best Used Bookstore in Surprise!

    Volunteer to assist customers in our bookstore. Take cash in payment for purchases. Organize and sort books. Price Books for sale. Accept donations and provide receipts for those donations. Training is available on site. Our shifts are 2 hours a day Monday through Sunday. One shift a week. Volunteers are needed particularly between 9 am and 5 pm. Students must be at least 14 years of age or enrolled in High School. Training is Provided.

    We do not accept Court appointed community Service. This program qualifies for Honor Society and Scholarships service.

    Volunteer hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday

    and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday Many shifts available

    • Shifts are two hours. Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift. One shift per week.end time 5:00pm.: 09:00 to 19:00 MST
