Description
Health Matters Clinic is seeking community-based facilitators and mental health professionals to support our Unstoppable Workshop Series, a monthly, in-person community education program focused on mental health awareness, wellness, and connection to local resources.
Workshops are educational and non-clinical, designed to meet community members where they are and help them understand available pathways to care and support.
Who We’re Looking For
- Mental health educators, advocates, or facilitators
- Mental Health First Aid–trained individuals
- Community health workers or peer leaders
- Licensed behavioral health professionals (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologists, etc.)
- Individuals affiliated with community-based organizations
Facilitator Role
- Support a guided workshop using provided materials
- Share knowledge, lived experience, or professional insight
- Participate in light preparation and arrive early for A/V setup
- Collaborate with Health Matters Clinic staff on-site
Incentives & Support
- Honorariums available for select sessions, prioritized for licensed behavioral health professionals and specialized facilitators
- Same-day e-Visa gift card provided for facilitators to offset travel and meal expenses (when applicable)
- All facilitators receive:
- Prepared curriculum and slide deck
- On-site staff support
- Opportunity to connect participants to local services
- Recognition for community service and impact
