Soccer Support Volunteer for our Soccer Program- Hollywood PAL

Help keep Hollywood PAL's youth soccer program running smoothly!

Hollywood PAL is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Soccer Support Volunteer to assist with the day-to-day needs of our youth soccer program. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with youth and wants to contribute to a positive, active, and supportive community environment—even if they don't have extensive soccer coaching experience.

When:

Wednesdays, 5:30–7:30 PM

Saturdays, 1:00–6:00 PM

Sessions take place in the Hollywood area.

Your presence can make a meaningful difference. Consistent, caring adults help young people feel supported while developing important skills such as teamwork, responsibility, confidence, and sportsmanship.

What You'll Do

The Soccer Support Person will work alongside coaches and program staff to help practices and games run smoothly. Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with player sign-in and attendance.
• Help organize equipment and prepare the field for practices and games.
• Support nutrition and water breaks.
• Help coordinate and speak with parents
• Assist coaches with drills and facilitating practices
• Help keep players organized and engaged during practices & games.
• Provide encouragement and positive support to youth.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Assist with other program needs as they arise.

What's Required

• Reliability and willingness to commit consistently to program sessions
• Positive and respectful attitude toward youth and coach leads
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Patience, flexibility, and a willingness to help wherever needed
• Passion for supporting young people and the community
• Soccer experience is helpful but not required
