    Description

    Food Sorting and Packing

    Join the Benefits in Action team to sort donations and pack boxes of food. With the help of volunteers, every week we deliver around 100 boxes to homebound older adults in the Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, and Jefferson counties).

    The shifts take place at our warehouse (2080 W. Barberry Pl, Denver), Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other time slots may be available upon request. Individuals and groups welcome.

    Responsibilities & Duties Available:

    • Be able to lift 20 lbs.
    • Stand during the volunteering time
    • Follow packing directions to ensure the right items are in each box
    • Documentation as required for reporting work
