MENtorUP is a youth mentorship program of Friends of Westchase seeking caring, consistent adult mentors to walk alongside 9th–10th grade young men as they grow in confidence, character, and purpose.
MENtorUP meets primarily on Saturdays, with occasional weeknight gatherings, offering flexible but meaningful engagement for working professionals and community members.
Mentors build relationships with students through small-group mentoring, life skills development, and shared experiences. Our young men explore their futures through college campus visits, serve their community with organizations like Houston Food Bank and Kids’ Meals, and deepen connection through a summer retreat focused on brotherhood and personal growth.
No prior mentoring experience is required—training and support are provided. What matters most is showing up, listening well, and investing in young lives.
