Special Olympics NC - Summer Games Venue Welcome Team Members Needed!

Do you enjoy welcoming people, creating positive experiences, and helping events run smoothly? Special Olympics North Carolina is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Venue Welcome Team for the 2026 Summer Games!

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and guests
• Welcome attendees as they arrive and help direct them to venues, parking, registration areas, and event locations
• Assist with answering questions and providing general event information
• Help maintain an organized, positive, and energetic atmosphere throughout the venues
• Support venue operations staff with crowd flow and guest assistance as needed
• Work alongside fellow volunteers to ensure every guest feels welcomed and supported during the Summer Games

Time Commitment:

• On-site venues in Raleigh & Cary, NC
• Event weekend: May 29 - May 31, 2026
