Role Overview

Berthoud Habitat for Humanity is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to support our administrative and ReStore teams by photographing merchandise for marketing, promotions, and online use. This role helps showcase unique ReStore finds, increase sales, and support our mission of building safe, affordable housing in our community.

No professional photography experience is required — just a good eye, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Photograph select ReStore merchandise (furniture, décor, home goods, etc.)
• Capture clear, well-lit images using a smartphone or camera
• Assist staff with basic organization of items prior to photography
• Upload or share photos with staff following simple guidelines
• Support additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to take photos
• Strong attention to detail and visual awareness
• Ability to work independently and follow simple instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

Time Commitment

• 1–2 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling within ReStore operating hours
• Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
