Treasures of Hope is seeking caring, positive, and reliable volunteers who want to make a real impact on the lives of girls, teens, and young adults. We host monthly events, leadership workshops, mentoring circles, community projects, and youth‑led activities, and we need a strong volunteer team to help bring this vision to life.
Volunteers can choose from ongoing roles or one‑time event support depending on their availability. Volunteer Roles Available
- Mentor / Mentee Support (Ongoing)
Help support youth during:
- Girls Circle sessions
- Leadership workshops
- Peer‑to‑peer support activities
- Monthly check‑ins
- Youth Ambassador development
Mentors do not need a background check — we use group‑based mentoring, clear boundaries, and safety protocols.
- Event Volunteers (As Needed)
Support our monthly and quarterly events:
- Registration table
- Set‑up and clean‑up
- Activity stations
- Restorative circles
- Youth leadership activities
- Community service projects
- Parent engagement events
Perfect for volunteers who want to help but cannot commit to bi-weekly.
- Youth Leadership Support
Assist with:
- Youth Ambassador training
- Peer Mediation practice
- Mental health awareness activities
- Table Talk Zones
- Book clubs
- Safe Place / Calm Corner
- Administrative & Behind‑the‑Scenes Support
Help with:
- Organizing supplies
- Preparing materials
- Social media support
- Community outreach
- Donation sorting (boutique, hygiene kits, school supplies)
Responsibilities
- Support youth in a positive, encouraging, and safe way
- Help create a welcoming environment
- Assist with activities, workshops, and events
- Follow Treasures of Hope safety guidelines
- Communicate with staff as needed
- Attend short volunteer orientations or trainings (virtual or in‑person)
Qualifications
You do not need experience — just:
- A caring heart
- A willingness to learn
- A desire to support youth
- Reliability and good communication
- Ability to work with diverse groups
Training is provided for all volunteers.
Time Commitment
Flexible - choose what works for you:
- One‑time events
- Monthly events
- Bi-Weekly mentoring
- Virtual or in‑person opportunities
