Volunteer Role Description — Project Homeless Connect
Volunteers play a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and dignified experience for community members accessing services at Project Homeless Connect. Opportunities are available in both morning and afternoon shifts and include roles such as greeting and checking in participants, assisting with volunteer coordination, supporting service stations (including food distribution and hygiene services), helping with event flow, providing wayfinding support as docents, assisting partner organizations such as the Humane Society, and supporting general logistics like set-up and storage area organization.
Volunteers help ensure participants feel respected, supported, and connected to resources by offering a warm presence, clear information, and hands-on assistance throughout the event.
There is no parking in the Ronald Reagan lot, so please plan on street parking.
