    Description

    Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is expanding its workforce development support for residents and is looking volunteers to support those efforts. Below is a specific project in Arlington VA but we will be looking for volunteers at other times and in other jurisdictions.     Workforce Development Presentation & Follow-up Sessions

    • Thursdays, 1-3pm, starting on May 14
    • The Terraces, 1420 S Rolfe St, Arlington VA
    • Session #1 on May 14 - Volunteers will present information on soft skills like attire, resume writing and job boards from existing powerpoint.
    • Follow-up sessions - Volunteers will review resumes, practice interview skills, and help residents with their job search.
