    Description

Help Animals in Families of Need Get Medical Care: Volunteer Needed

A Fighting Chance Foundation is a charitable, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization based in Northern Virginia with the goal of making pet care affordable for deserving Virginia families by subsidizing a portion of emergency medical care for Virginia animals in need.

A Fighting Chance Foundation aims to reduce this burden by providing supplemental grants for those who qualify, and as funding permits. We will pay the veterinarian directly to decrease costs for low-income pet owners saving their pet. We are looking for volunteer help for the following:

Operations - help manage new applicant calls and grant approvals

Fundraising - coordinate new fundraising opportunities on behalf of the nonprofit

If you are interested in either of these tasks, please let us know! We are a small team happy to have help from other animal lovers.
