    Volunteers are welcome to join for a minimum of one week and up to three months or longer. Working hours are flexible, usually 4–6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, depending on the activities and volunteer availability.

    Community Arts & Youth Empowerment Volunteer

    Kilimanjaro Inspiration for New Development (KIND) is a registered non-profit organization based in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. We are looking for passionate and committed volunteers from around the world to join our team and make a meaningful impact in local communities.

    As a volunteer, you will work alongside our staff and local youth to support programs focused on community development, arts, education, and cultural exchange.

    Responsibilities

    Support modern dance, traditional dance, drama, and acrobatics activities.

    Assist with educational and youth empowerment programs.

    Participate in community outreach and social impact projects.

    Help organize workshops, cultural events, and recreational activities.

    Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence among children and young people.

    Share your skills while learning about Tanzanian culture and community life.

    Qualifications

    Passion for volunteering and community service.

    Positive attitude, respect, and willingness to learn.

    Ability to work with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.

    Good communication and teamwork skills.

    Previous experience in education, arts, sports, social work, or community development is welcome but not required.
