    Description

    Help bring comfort to families grieving the loss of a loved one. At Amedisys Compassionate Care, we support families for 13 months after a patient’s passing, and our Bereavement Volunteers play a key role in that care.

    What You’ll Do

    Choose the type of outreach that fits you best:

    Phone calls to check in and offer support

    In‑person visits for companionship and connection

    Handwritten notes or cards to remind families they’re not alone

    What We Provide

    Training in grief support

    Ongoing guidance from our bereavement team

    Flexible scheduling
