    A one-time workshop (2 hours) or spend one hour a week facilitating a class or tutoring one-on-one. This can be for a full semester, full year, or a short course (4 to 8 weeks). We are flexible!

    Share your time and talents with teens!

    Do you have skills, talents or knowledge you would like to share with young people? Bucks Learning Cooperative is looking for volunteers to work with our teen members for the upcoming semester. BLC volunteers work with our members in a variety of academic and non-academic areas through tutoring, leading classes or activities or offering one-time workshops.     We are interested in any volunteer who has a passion to work with teens, but are specifically looking for volunteers in these areas:

    • Cosmetology (taditional and/or experimental)
    • Sewing/Costuming
    • Woodworking
    • Animal Studies (animal science, zoology, animal care, marine biology, equine science)
    • Interior Design
    • Traditional math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus)
    • Non-traditional Math (logic puzzles, math in the trades (sewing, woodworking, cooking, etc.), math in nature, math in everyday life)
    • Environmental Science
    • Stock Market
    • Movement & Games
    • Podcasting
    • Creative and Academic Writing
    • Python
    • Computer Assembly
    • Languages
    • Visual Arts
    • Foraging
    • Basic Home Repair
    • Anything that you are passionate about! Proposals welcomed!
