    Description

    Executive Assistant

    We’re seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant Volunteer to support our Founder/Executive Director. This pivotal role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and helps the organization stay mission-focused as we expand our impact.

    Service Opportunities

    We are seeking one volunteer for each of our programs (see www.sapphirejuleking.org for details):

    • SELF-LOVEapalooza: annual celebration through music and the arts
    • The Uncaged Heart: TV production helping guests/viewers overcome shame through the power of love
    • W.I.L.D. Love Hiking: adventure-based program for whole-hearted internal love development (W.I.L.D.)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics for Executive Director
    • Draft, edit, and format correspondence, agendas, and reports
    • Track action items and follow-ups
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
    • Coordinate communications between executive leadership, volunteers, and partners
    • Assist with special projects, events, and media or fundraising initiatives
    • Support grant, sponsorship, and donor outreach preparation (as needed)

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organization and time management abilities
    • Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) or Microsoft Office
    • Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential matters
    • Prior experience as an executive assistant, project coordinator, or administrator is a plus but not required—passion and reliability matter most
