Job Description:

We are looking for a select group of four volunteers to assist our Director of Development in the raising of funds from corporations, businesses and individuals that are primarily in California. Volunteers do not need a health, finance or fundraising background, but they need to be: Articulate, professional and comfortable communicating with potential donors. Honest, Sincere and Accurate Interested in making a difference by supporting our organization. Residing in California Able to commit an average of 5 hours per week for at least three months You will be contacting individuals, businesses and corporations with HHP’s materials. The Director of Development will train you. You will do the initial research on one of the companies on a list of donor prospects that HHP is maintaining. After your initial research and some communication with the Director of Development, you will contact the company's designated leader for social responsibility to open up a conversation. Once communication is opened with a potential donor, you will work with the Director of Development to pursue this opportunity.
