    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funding sources
    • Evaluate funding opportunities based on alignment with Community, Serve Us programs, mission, eligibility requirements, and funding priorities
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential grant opportunities and upcoming deadlines
    • Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, applications, and supporting materials
    • Help communicate our mission, programs, community needs, and anticipated impact in compelling and accessible language
    • Collaborate with leadership and program team members to gather information, data, budgets, and other materials needed for applications
    • Maintain an organized calendar of grant deadlines, application requirements, submissions, and follow-ups
    • Develop reusable grant language, organizational descriptions, and other materials to streamline future applications
    • Help identify opportunities to strengthen our grant readiness and overall fundraising infrastructure

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in grant writing, nonprofit fundraising, development, research, or professional writing
    • Strong written communication and research skills
    • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to independently research funding opportunities and manage multiple deadlines
    • Comfort collaborating with leadership and cross-functional team members
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace, project management tools, grant databases, or CRM systems is a plus
