Have you ever felt the nudge to serve in your community but didn't know where you were being called to serve? I have a great idea! Hospice. Volunteering for Northern Arizona Hospice can give you a sense of purpose, of meaning, a sense of caring for others in a way you may have never experienced before. Do you know there is a huge need for Hospice Volunteers? Some patients live alone and have no one to visit with. Sometimes, there is a spouse or child(ren) in the house who might need a break to run errands or make an appointment. It is a huge blessing for both the patient and the family to have someone help them. If you are reading this right now, and you would like to think about or consider volunteering (but not sure where your skills can best be used) I encourage you to give a call. As a volunteer you can pick your own schedule. We do ask for a 1 hour per week commitment. Please consider calling right now for more information or to schedule an interview. We also need help in the office with administrative tasks if going into homes is not your thing. We Honor Veterans through our Veteran-to-Veteran Program.
