    Campaign Against Hunger’s mission is to empower our neighbors to lead healthier, more productive, and self-sufficient lives by increasing access to safe, nutritious food and related resources.

    TCAH's food distribution center in Brooklyn provides groceries and other nutritious food to over 100 community pantries which serve nearly all of Brooklyn. This facility is 19,000 SF. Staff also fulfills individual online orders which they deliver.

    As a Warehouse (Food Distribution Ctr) Assistant Volunteer, you will assist warehouse staff with fulfilling orders, filing, baling cardboard, bagging, checking inventory, organizing warehouse items.

    This is an in-person role, averaging 3 hours per week. We offer a flexible schedule and request a 3-month commitment.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
    • Positive attitude and a team player
    • The ability to lift 25 pounds is preferred but not required.
