Hospice Volunteer

Ancora Health Services is looking for compassionate and caring volunteers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families throughout the Treasure Valley.

As a hospice volunteer, you'll provide compainionship, friendship, and emotional support. Volunteer activites can include visiting and talking with patients, reading together, playing games, doing crafts, writing cards, or simply spending time together. Sometimes, just having someone there to listen and share a conversation can mean so much.

No medical experince is required. Hospice volunteers do not provide hands-on patient care or medical services. Ancora Health Services provides the training and support you need to feel comfortable and prepared in your role.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Compassionate, depedable, and respectful
• Good listeners who enjoy connecting with others
• Comfortable spending time with people and families during meaningful moments
• Willing to complete required volunteer training
• Able to commit to regualr visits

Whether you have a few hours a week or simply want to give your time to something meaningful, your presence can make a lasting difference.
