Description
Volunteers make a difference!
By becoming a direct patient care volunteer for Grane Hospice your acts of kindness will have a great impact when our patients and families need them most. Volunteers sit with patients to provide companionship, read to patients, play cards, share in life review with the patient and/or family members, or even go for walks outdoors. Our volunteers are an integral part of ensuring our patients have outstanding quality of life when time is limited by illness.
Grane Hospice volunteers are part of care team and are provided with specialized training and ongoing support by dedicated Volunteer Program Coordinators as well as other Hospice staff.
