    Description

    Musician at Friday Gathering Meals

    Initiative: Beyond the Basics

    Impact area: Basic Needs (food, clothing, housing)

    Location: Hartford, CT

    Hours: Fridays, 3:00-7:30pm

    Desired level of commitment: At least once per month

    Duration: Year-round

    Age requirement: 18+

    Tasks may include:

    • Entertaining at a free community meal
    • Leading or accompanying an opening song (optional)

    In order to volunteer you should be:

    • A registered UAServe volunteer (you will have a chance to register if you haven't already)
    • Willing to attend an orientation and training prior to volunteering
    • Willing to submit a background check
    • Open to an ongoing volunteer opportunity that works with your schedule
    • Experienced in music
    • Personable
    • Willing to take initiative
    • Reliable
    • Honest
    • Patient
