Hospice Volunteer Training

We are looking for compassionate volunteers who want to assist patients and their loved ones with their end-of-life journey.

NEXT TRAINING: September 12, 2026 9AM-4:30PM (Trainings are held three times a year.)

• • There is an additional 12 hours online instruction required which can be done prior to orientation.

A health screen and background clearance by PeaceHealth at our expense are required for all incoming volunteers. These requirements must be met before you can begin training as a volunteer.

*Hospice Volunteer Trainings are held three times a year and is a prerequisite for the STEPPING STONES (Children's Grief Support) and NODA (No One Dies Alone) volunteer roles, which each have an additional one-day training (9AM-4PM) at a later date.
