We Connect The Dots is a social impact organization focused on building workforce-ready tech skills for underrepresented communities through our partnership with Nebula Academy. Our programs include online full-stack web development training, coding bootcamps, hackathons, and our flagship UpSkill program.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Video Storytelling & Editing Specialist to help shape compelling, brand-aligned videos that highlight our programs and showcase student and partner success stories. These videos play a key role in building brand awareness, engaging our community, and supporting fundraising and partnership efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form and long-form video content, including:
  • Social media reels, shorts, and highlights
  • Testimonials and program recap videos
• Identify and pull the most impactful moments from longer recordings
• Apply thoughtful pacing, music, B-roll, and text overlays to strengthen storytelling
• Ensure videos align with WCTD’s brand voice and mission

Skills & Experience

• Experience with video editing platforms such as Canva, Microsoft Clipchamp, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail
• Ability to craft emotionally engaging narratives from raw footage
• Comfortable working with captions, overlays, and basic audio enhancement
