    Description

This is where the mission of The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen comes to life.

We are creating something different from a traditional meal distribution program. Our vision is a community restaurant where guests are welcomed, seated, served thoughtfully prepared food, and treated with the same dignity and hospitality you would expect in any wonderful restaurant.

No restaurant experience is required. We can teach the tasks. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy serving others.

    Volunteer roles may include:

    • Host/greeter
    • Server
    • Food runner
    • Kitchen support
    • Plating assistance
    • Beverage service
    • Bussing and resetting tables
    • Dishwashing and cleanup
    • Dining-room setup and breakdown
    • Guest hospitality

    Qualifications:

    • Warm, welcoming, and respectful
    • Comfortable interacting with people from different backgrounds
    • Able to work as part of a team
    • Dependable and punctual
    • Willing to learn our hospitality standards
    • Able to follow applicable food-safety procedures
    • Understands that dignity, kindness, and discretion are essential

Some roles involve standing, walking, carrying plates, or working in a kitchen environment. Less physically demanding roles may also be available.

Our guests aren't coming through a food line—they're coming to our table. We want every person who walks through our doors to feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and cared for.
