    About Us

Born with almost no control over how—and with whom—they live their lives, women and girls in Rajasthan, India are finding ways to leap over barriers based on class, caste, and gender through the programs of the grassroots Indian organization Sambhali Trust. Our team at Sambhali U.S. is proud to support their efforts and honored to tell the stories of the women and girls of Sambhali.

    About the Role

As our Volunteer Social Media Manager, you will help bring Sambhali's mission to life through compelling content across our digital channels. We welcome creativity, fresh ideas, and new perspectives. Whether you're an experienced communications professional or looking to grow your skills while supporting an important cause, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll work virtually with a supportive team of writers, editors, and designers across the United States.

    What You'll Do

    • Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms.
    • Help tell the stories of Sambhali's programs, students, volunteers, and supporters.
    • Collaborate with team members to develop campaigns that increase awareness and engagement.
    • Ensure content is completed on schedule and aligned with organizational guidelines.
    • Research topics related to Rajasthan, India, women's empowerment, education, and social change.

    What We're Looking For

    • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • Interest in social media, digital storytelling, and community engagement.
    • Creativity and a willingness to bring new ideas to the table.
    • Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
    • Knowledge of India and/or women's empowerment issues is a plus, but not required.
    • Passion for Sambhali U.S.'s mission and a desire to make a difference.

    Why Volunteer With Sambhali U.S.?

    • Use your talents to support women and girls in India.
    • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications and digital marketing.
    • Collaborate with a passionate, welcoming team.
    • Build your portfolio with meaningful, mission-driven work.
    • Make a real impact by helping share stories that inspire action and change.
