    The Role:

We’re looking for volunteer Tech Support Assistants to provide in-person technology help and troubleshooting for staff and community members at local nonprofits. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning on the fly, and helping others feel more confident using technology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide basic technical support for computers, mobile devices, and internet-related issues.
    • Assist nonprofit staff and community members with software setup, account access, and general troubleshooting.
    • Offer patient, one-on-one guidance to users of all skill levels.
    • Communicate common issues or tech needs to the Triceratops Technology Resources team.
    • Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful presence on-site.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Patience and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to assist users with varying levels of technical comfort.
    • Dependable and professional demeanor.
    • Prior customer service or IT experience is a plus, but not required.

    Why Volunteer?

Gain hands-on experience in IT support while making a tangible difference for local nonprofits. You’ll strengthen your troubleshooting and communication skills, build your resume, and can receive a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of your volunteer term.
