    About Us

At JakeyMac Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering youth and parents alike by revolutionizing youth education thru innovative "screen free" gamified learning models. As an agile, growing organization, we are focused on sustainable scaling, high-impact partnerships, and building an endowment and asset base that will support our mission for decades to come.

    The Role

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Volunteer Director of Development to help architect and lead our revenue and donor growth strategy supported by our team of AI technicians developing our proprietary AI powered fundraising engine which operates 7/24/365 recruiting HNW donors.

If you are a seasoned non-profit fundraiser, corporate partnerships executive, or retired advancement leader looking to lend your expertise for high-leverage community impact, this role is for you. You will work side-by-side with our Executive Director and Board Chair to turn an active mission into a sustainable, multi-channel funding engine.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fundraising Strategy & Roadmap: Partner with executive leadership to design a

comprehensive annual development plan targeting major gifts, corp sponsors, and grant

    funding.

    • Prospect Research & Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify individual benefactors,

family foundations, and corporate partners whose philanthropic interests align with our

    programmatic priorities.

    • Major Gifts & Strategic Partnerships: Help design solicitation decks, case-for-support

collateral, and structured proposals system. Prepare executive leadership to engage and

    close high-capacity prospects.

    • Asset & Planned Giving Architecture: Help structure channels for diverse, high-impact

philanthropic contributions (e.g., donor-advised funds, corporate sponsorships, and non-

    cash or estate gifts).

    • Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: Establish systematic stewardship rhythms to ensure

supporters receive measurable impact reporting and maintain lasting relationships with our

    organization.

    Who You Are

    • Experienced: 5+ years of experience in non-profit fundraising, major gifts cultivation,

institutional advancement, corporate sponsorship sales, or business development.

    • Strategic Closer: You understand the donor lifecycle and know how to move relationships

from initial awareness to closed commitments.

    • Clear Communicator: Strong writing and verbal presentation skills; able to translate

programmatic outcomes into a compelling investment case.

    • Autonomous & Mission-Driven: Self-directed, organized, and energized by laying the

    groundwork for a growing organization.

    Time Commitment & Logistics

    • Hours: Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week (flexible scheduling, including occasional

    virtual syncs with leadership).

    • Duration: 6-month initial commitment preferred.
    • Format: Primarily remote, with optional local in-person meetings for donor engagements

    where applicable.

    What You Gain

    • High-Level Direct Impact: A seat at the leadership table shaping the financial trajectory and

    outreach of an organization.

    • Executive Collaboration: Direct partnership with experienced community leaders, board

    members, and program directors.

    • Community Legacy: The opportunity to build a permanent philanthropic foundation that

    directly transforms lives.
