Do you enjoy sharing your experiences, listening to young people, and sparking meaningful conversations? University School of the Lowcountry is seeking adult volunteers to serve as mentors for our older students.

As a mentor, you’ll:

• Engage in thoughtful, one-on-one or small group conversations with students
• Share your time, talents, and life experiences to broaden their perspectives
• Help students gain insights into various fields and professions by sharing your own career journey and knowledge
• Encourage curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking through dialogue
• Build connections that help students prepare for life beyond the classroom

This is a flexible, relationship-centered opportunity—no teaching background required. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life who are eager to invest in the next generation. Whether you’re a professional, retiree, or community member with a passion for learning, your voice and perspective can make a lasting impact.
