    Shape the Future: Mentor Spanish-Speaking Students with Atlanta GLOW!

    Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals from diverse backgrounds? Atlanta Growing Leadership Of Women (GLOW) seeks dedicated volunteers to join our team as Mentors for female, immigrant students aged 14-17. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to make a real impact on the growth and success of these students, all while helping to foster greater cross-cultural understanding.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build meaningful relationships with immigrant students, providing guidance and support.
    • Assist students in navigating challenges related to cultural adjustment, academics, and personal development.
    • Work with parents, guardians, and community partners to establish a supportive network for the mentee.
    • Commit to meeting with your mentee a minimum of two times per month for six months.

    Qualifications:

    • A caring and mature adult, age 21 or older.
    • Genuine interest in supporting the educational and personal development of immigrant youth.
    • Comfortable working with students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Availability to commit to mentoring meetings at least two times per month for six months.
