About the Camp:
Our Inclusive Summer Camp welcomes approximately 50 children ages 3–10 for two weeks of engaging and inclusive summer programming. Camp activities will include field trips, educational onsite experiences, and activities centered around STEM, movement and music, art, and more.
As a volunteer, you will be paired with one or two children and serve as a buddy throughout the day’s activities, including snack and lunch times. Volunteers will assist campers with participation, engagement, and general safety support.
Volunteer as a "Buddy"
- Work 1:1 with campers with special needs (children aged 3yrs-10yrs)
- Help your camper Participate in enriching movement, sensory, and craft activities
- Befriend your assigned camper and help them to feel safe and welcome
- Have fun!
Volunteer Commitment & Requirements:
- Volunteers are asked to sign up for full-day shifts (8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). Whether you volunteer for one day or all ten days is completely up to you.
- Volunteers attending field trip days are asked to provide their own transportation, as space on the buses is limited.
- Volunteers must be at least 15 years old with a guardian present, or 16 years old to volunteer independently.
