Help Bring the Walk to Life
Are you passionate about event planning, logistics, volunteer coordination, or creating memorable experiences? Join the Walk to End Alzheimer's Event Experience Committee and help us transform Walk Day into an inspiring, engaging, and impactful event for thousands of participants.
We're seeking creative thinkers, organizers, problem-solvers, and community leaders who want to play a key role in elevating the overall participant experience and ensuring every attendee feels connected to our mission.
We're Looking For:
- Event Planners
- Logistics & Operations Leads
- Volunteer Engagement Coordinators
- Entertainment & Activities Coordinators
- Hospitality & Participant Experience Volunteers
- Community Relations Professionals
- Creative Individuals with fresh ideas to enhance Walk Day
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and designing the Walk Day experience
- Help coordinate event logistics, site flow, and participant engagement activities
- Develop ideas to increase excitement, energy, and participation
- Support volunteer recruitment and event-day operations
- Collaborate with committee members to create memorable mission moments
- Identify opportunities to enhance team captain, sponsor, and participant experiences
- Assist with setup, event execution, and breakdown on Walk Day
Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for community engagement and making an impact
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Creative mindset and willingness to share ideas
- Event planning or project management experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of volunteers and community leaders
