Help Nourish Our Community-One Delivery at a Time

Support local seniors as they come together to connect, share stories, and enjoy healthy, delicious meals in a welcoming environment. As a Meal Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in ensuring older adults receive nutritious food-with a side of care and connection.

You’ll pick up prepared meals from our vendor partners and deliver them to Better Together Café sites located in Suffolk, Franklin, and Isle of Wight. We’ll help you select the location that’s most convenient for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up meals from designated vendor locations by 10:30 a.m.
• Deliver meals to assigned Better Together Café sites by 12 p.m.
• Greet café staff and meal recipients with warmth and respect
• Return coolers and delivery bags to the vendor after deliveries
• Report any issues with delivery

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, preferably an SUV or van for trunk space
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Friendly, punctual, and dependable

Time Commitment:

4 days per month minimum; volunteers are asked to commit to a consistent, weekly schedule, delivering meals on the same day each week.
