    Do you have experience in planning, coordinating, and training others? YAMM is seeking a remote volunteer Training & Development Manager to plan and coordinate our volunteer training programs.

    Overview

    YAMM is seeking a Remote Volunteer Training & Development Manager to lead the creation and management of all volunteer training programs. This role is critical to ensuring new volunteers are well-prepared, confident, and equipped to support our mission in youth empowerment, education, and community development. This is a fully remote, volunteer position with flexible hours.

    The Remote Volunteer Training & Development Manager will:

    Volunteer Duties

    • Design and develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new volunteers.
    • Update and maintain training materials, guides, and manuals.
    • Conduct virtual orientation sessions and workshops.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
    • Collaborate with HR and volunteer leadership teams to align programs with organizational goals.
    • Provide ongoing support and coaching to volunteers.

    Minimum Required Skills

    1. Training & Development – creating structured training programs for volunteers.
    2. Instructional Design – developing engaging and effective educational materials.
    3. Communication Skills – clear written and verbal communication for teaching and guidance.
    4. Remote Collaboration – working effectively with virtual teams.
    5. Project Management – planning and executing multiple training initiatives.

    Abilities and Knowledge

    1. Ability to assess volunteer learning needs and adjust training programs.
    2. Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective teaching strategies.
    3. Ability to facilitate group sessions online and virtually.
    4. Knowledge of online collaboration and learning tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.).
    5. Ability to monitor and measure training outcomes.

    Experience

    1. Experience developing training programs or materials.
    2. Experience leading volunteer onboarding or staff training.
    3. Experience facilitating workshops or webinars.
    4. Experience evaluating training effectiveness.
    5. Experience working in a nonprofit or volunteer-driven environment.
    6. Asana - 1 Year experience
