Volunteer Mentors play a crucial role in supporting youth experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Through consistent connection, encouragement, and practical guidance, mentors help young people build stability, confidence, and a path toward their goals. Mentors serve as trusted adults, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for youth to grow, learn life skills, and feel seen and supported.
Must be able to commit to one day a week, actively listen and meet young people where they are without judgement. StandUp for Kids Tucson needs mentors in our outreach center and to help build a more formal program for young people potentially off campus.
